- All recent medical records relevant to your healthcare condition are important. These include diagnostic imaging reports such as X-rays, CT and MR scans, lab results, specialist letters and reports, and current medications.
- How do I get access to my medical records?
- Your medical records should always be made available to you. They are your records. You may have to fill out a consent stating that you allow for the release of your records, and occasionally the odd hospital or clinic will unfortunately charge you a photocopy fee. Time to receive your records should take no longer than a week.
- How long will it take to get my consult/second opinion?
- After receiving your medical information, reviewing and sourcing, we can usually have an international appointment within 2 weeks.

Arranging an international consultation with a hospital/specialist will cost $899.00 USD. Travel, food and accommodations obviously excluded. A review of your medical records only by a specialist in the field and an offering of opinion on those records will cost 500 US dollars.
- What does a second opinion include?
- A second opinion maybe a simple as an independent review of your medical records by an international specialist in the field, and a report from the specialist to you. A second opinion may also include a site visit to the hospital/ clinic/specialist and a physical examination, recommendation of further testing, in addition to a review of your medical records. (The determination of a site visit in addition to the review of your medical records is dependant on the type of condition you present to us and potentially the need for a physical presence to evaluate, confirm or refute the condition)
